A Clean Start is a win-win. You get a fresh clean apartment and we are able to train and provide work for refugees. We are thankful to so many for the opportunity to prove ourselves, but we also desire to be a high quality business in its own right.
So far we are working at 100% customer satisfaction with the majority of our clients sharing our service with friends. We are growing rapidly and would like the chance to show you some of ambition to grow from one man with a mop and bucket to a team of professional cleaners.
It all started when...
...we went out for a quick bite to eat as celebration after paying off the slum lorde and looking on to greater things.
We discussed a few employment options, but factories pay little and force long hours and office work is next to impossible as a refugee. We decided that starting a cleaning service would fit our needs and possibilities. We started with a few friends and some facebook posts. In less than a month we were scheduling regular clients as well as one off 'deep cleans'. Now we have multiple employees are work all around Istanbul.

Meet our Entrepreneurs
Dia HASAN is a proud new father from Aleppo. He has been working diligently to support his family. Although he is a soft spoken gentleman, his wit and jokes keep our weekly meetings light and familial.
We are also encouraged by the ownership he takes for his work; writing down all the details, keeping our financials structured.
Babucar JOOF is an aspiring model from Gambia; working with agents in the evenings after work. This young man has been on runways in Europe, Asia and Africa showing his passion for fashion and modeling.
In the meantime, we work closely together to help grow transferable skills from entrepreneurship. It's amazing what the responsibility of business can do to unleash the creativity of the mind.
Be part of the growth and follow our story.
There are few things we love more than the comforts of home. Let's help each other get there.

In the news
Our first break was from Yabanci, a local expat magazine, that helped us gain traction with the larger community. Thank you for the opportunity to talk about the struggles and realities of entrepreneurship, the future potential and ambitions.
We were later picked up by Radio France Internationale for as the opener to daily news. It was a particular blessing to our employees to see a renewed interest in our work. It has not been an easy road, but we continually see signs of growth. The feeling of support, locally or internationally, lightens the burden. Thank you.
